Export Formats

CSV Format

  • Exports table modules only - other module types (text, images, etc.) are not included
  • Best for viewing size data in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet applications
  • Ideal for data analysis and reporting on sizing information
  • Easy to share with non-technical team members
  • Multiple charts are exported as a .zip file containing individual CSV files

JSON Format

  • Exports ALL modules including text, images, headings, and all other module types
  • Includes complete module settings and configurations
  • Best for developers and technical integrations
  • Preserves complete data structure and formatting
  • Ideal for creating complete backups or importing into other systems
  • Recommended for full size chart backups

What Gets Exported

CSV Export Includes:

  • Table module data only (sizing measurements and data)
  • Size chart titles
  • Multiple charts are packaged as a .zip file

JSON Export Includes:

  • All module types (tables, text, images, headings, spacers, dividers, lists, callouts)
  • Complete module settings and configurations
  • Display settings and configurations
  • Publication status
  • Creation and modification dates
  • All metadata and formatting details

Best Practices

  • For complete backups: Use JSON format to ensure all content and settings are preserved
  • For data analysis: Use CSV format when you only need the sizing data from tables
  • Bulk operations: Select multiple charts for efficient batch exports
  • File handling: CSV exports of multiple charts will download as a .zip file
  • Format selection: Choose JSON for full backups, CSV for spreadsheet analysis
  • File organization: Use descriptive filenames and organize exports by date or purpose

Tip: Use JSON format before making major changes to create a complete backup that includes all modules and settings.
